Privacy policy
What this website does, and does not do, with your personal information.
Who is responsible
This website is run by the practice named in the footer. The policy below describes the personal data the website itself collects and how it is handled. Clinical records are covered by the practice's own patient privacy notice, which you receive when you become a patient.
Information this website collects
Details you send us. When you telephone or email the practice, the information you give is used to answer your enquiry and, where relevant, to arrange an appointment. Online bookings are made on a separate booking website, reached through the "Book an Appointment" buttons, which publishes its own privacy notice.
Analytics. If analytics are switched on, Google Analytics is used to understand how visitors move around the site. The data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
Server logs. The hosting provider keeps ordinary web-server logs — IP address, browser type and pages requested — for security and troubleshooting, and deletes them routinely.
Cookies
The public pages of this site set no cookies of their own. Analytics tools, where enabled, may set cookies as described in their providers' policies.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you may ask to see the personal data held about you, have inaccurate data corrected and, in certain circumstances, have it deleted. To exercise these rights, contact the practice using the details on the contact page. If you are unhappy with how your data has been handled you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated from time to time; the date of the most recent revision is held in the page's metadata.
